Dunlop Fort Clay Court - THE CHOSEN BALL FOR THE 2018 DAVIS CUP FINAL
This year’s Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Final will be contested by France (the home team) and Croatia, at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille on 23rd – 25th November 2018. This will be the third meeting between the two countries, with the home team prevailing in both of their previous encounters.
The French Tennis Federation [Federation Francaise de Tennis (FFT)] announced that they would return to these familiar surroundings earlier in the year and as France will be playing on one of its favourite surfaces (clay), they have made the decision to use Europe’s no.1 ball brand, the Dunlop Fort Clay Court tennis ball. A ball which is used at most of the major clay court tournaments on both the ATP and WTA tours throughout the season.
